Who we are and what this covers
Argania Studio is an independent mobile app studio operated by El Hachadi Ayoub, based in Marrakech, Morocco. This policy applies to every mobile application we publish on Google Play and, in future, the Apple App Store.
The sections below describe how all of our apps work. Because apps differ, each one also has its own entry under App-specific details, which is the authoritative description for that app. Where the two ever appear to disagree, the app-specific entry is the one that applies.
How our apps handle your information
We build our apps around a simple rule: what you enter should not need to leave your phone.
Our apps do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or phone number — unless you choose to write to us, in which case we have whatever you put in your message.
Information you enter into an app is written to that app's own private storage area on your device, which other apps cannot read. It is stored as you entered it, relying on the protection your operating system provides for app storage.
What leaves your device
For the apps listed below, nothing does. They contain no networking code, connect to no server of ours, and offer no cloud sync. We hold no copy of what you log, and we have no technical means of retrieving it.
If we ever release an app that does send data somewhere — a backup service, an account system, a shared feature — that app's entry below will say so plainly, and this section will be revised before the app is published.
Advertising and analytics
None of our published apps currently display advertising, and none contain analytics, crash reporting, audience measurement, or third-party tracking of any kind. Our apps do not read your device's advertising identifier.
We do intend to support future development through advertising in some apps. When that happens, the app's entry below will state it, this section will be replaced with a full description of what the advertising provider collects, and the change will appear in that app's release notes on Google Play before the version ships. Health information you enter will never be shared with advertisers or used to target ads.
Permissions
We request the minimum permissions an app needs to work, and no more. Any permission an app requests is listed in its entry below, with the reason. You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings.
Deleting your data
Because your information lives only on your phone, you control it directly:
- Delete everything by uninstalling the app. Everything it stored is removed with it.
- Start fresh without uninstalling through your device settings: Settings › Apps › [app name] › Storage › Clear data.
We cannot delete your data for you, because we do not have it.
Health and wellness information
Our apps are personal tools for general health and wellbeing. They are not medical devices. They do not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, they do not take measurements themselves, and they do not provide medical advice. Any targets or ranges you set are your own settings, not clinical recommendations.
Always follow the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional, and never change treatment based on what one of our apps displays.
Children
Our apps are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children — and in practice we collect no information at all, since nothing leaves the device.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information held about you, and to object to its processing. Argania Studio holds no personal information about users of our apps, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or erase on your behalf. You exercise these rights directly on your device using the steps in "Deleting your data" above.
If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to answer you.

This section is updated whenever we publish or change an app. It is the authoritative description of how each app behaves.
Android · In testing
SugaCare
A personal blood glucose log for people living with diabetes.
- Stored on device
- A first name you choose, your diabetes type, your personal target ranges, and your blood glucose readings (value, reading type, and time recorded).
- Sent anywhere
- Nothing. The app works fully offline, including in airplane mode.
- Advertising
- None.
- Analytics
- None.
- Permissions
- None requested. No access to camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or files outside the app's own storage.
- Deleting data
- Uninstall the app, or clear its data in your device settings.
Changes to this policy
If we change how our apps handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also appear in the relevant app's release notes on Google Play.
